Stock Control Inventory App Reviews

We have a small trade show company and one service we offer our clients is storage and stock management of their give-away stuff. Stock Control app gives us a good way to manage the constant in and out control of the quantities of these items. It is nice that we can bar code everything for easy access in the system.

This app is excellent for keeping track of pretty much anything you have. I use it to organize my Diecast collection and use the barcode scanning feature to be able to assign storage locations. The only thing I wish I could do is be able to disable characteristics like weight and dimensions when I run a report of my inventory. The report function does generate amazing looking lists.

This is a great app. It helped me turn the corner and go to the next level with my company.

Software has been useful, however it isnt clear that once you add lots of images and records you can no longer backup and restore your database. CSV text exports and imports work OK. I purchased the OS X version of stock control and the limits dont exist there. Use the OS X version as the primary copy with images, and the iOS version to keep a copy of all of your data with you, but without many images. Technical support was quick and responsive.

Since Im one of 4 people in America growing actual vegetables hydroponically, none of the apps are suited. Being a database guy, I figured "screw it" and got this more generalized app to help me track pertinent details I need to make sure my farm is working ok. Overall, Id say this is 10 bucks well spent as my farm is in good shape and Ive not had a single problem with this app. There are definitely some features I could use but considering Im repurposing an inventory control system for a hydrofarm, I cant call those "missing", just "would be nice to have." One thing missing which keeps this from getting 5 stars, is necessary regardless how you use this app... MUST include a .csv export for the full database. Nobody wants to deal with a .db file, most folks cant deal with it, and Kiwi clearly made it that way so youd have to buy their Mac app to use the db backup. Thats poor salesmanship. Thats a hard sell. Basically, Im just gonna hack your file and convert it but thats a dickmove on their part.

It took me a wild to figure out most of the parts of this App .but it is the best that Ive ever downloaded I wish I could enter it straight on my computer. Anybody who emails to customers specs,prices and pictures this is the app to use For salesman and manufacturers BOBBY REID

I bought the full version of the app to help my dad inventory a bunch of stuff he has. The idea was to use an iPad to enter the items in then export it so he could view it better on his PC. When choosing the app it was stated to have this feature: "Import / export all your data thanks to a CSV file (spreadsheet program) in order to use them on your PC or Mac." It would be really nice if the app maker would make this feature like they claim or correctly correct the description on what you can do with so other people do not waste their money on it. For this reason I have to give it a 3, if it did as advertised I could give the app a 5.

I have been using stock control for a month now doing light inventories to document insurance losss. I like the features like locations, ability to take multiple photos and add special notes, reports that can be emailed to you for printing. Great job stock control.
